The Athletic Complex
Part 1
June 3, 2009


Setting up the staging area on the KMC softball field. As with the commons construction,
the softball field will be out of service for a year during Phase 3 construction.

The historial grove of trees in front of which Mass used to be celebrated is no more, no is the sidewalk leading to the gym entrance. Entrance to the gym will be through the commons now.

A lot has happened to the site in just 3 days...
Welcome to a virtual tour of the
Coach Herm and Jackie Bachrodt Athletic Complex.

Entry from the track toward the parking lot. The mound of dirt represents the NE corner of the new athletic complex.

This used to be the seniors parking lot.
KMC Athletic Director John Heise is on his way to the track to check

More preparation work in laying out the area for the new athletic complex

Those trees were dead or dying, anyway. Dondlinger Construction had them out of the ground and ready for loading in minutes.

Underground work continues in earnest

Trenches dug and installation of underground utilities is well underway.
